1. Acceptance

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") before using StringTension - Racket String Meter ("App") by LI DAN. By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, for personal non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

3. App Description & Disclaimer

StringTension uses your device microphone to analyze sound frequency from tapping a racket string bed and estimates string tension.

IMPORTANT: Measurement results are algorithmic estimates for reference only. They are NOT a substitute for professional stringing machine readings.

Accuracy may vary based on ambient noise, tapping technique, racket resonance, string type, and device microphone quality. The Developer makes no warranty of accuracy for professional or competitive use.

4. In-App Purchases

Optional Pro membership is available:

StringTension Pro Monthly — recurring subscription
StringTension Pro Yearly — recurring subscription
StringTension Pro Lifetime — one-time purchase

All purchases via Apple App Store. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled 24+ hours before renewal. Manage in Apple ID settings. No refunds except as required by law or Apple's refund policy.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its algorithms, racket/string database, and all content, is owned by LI DAN and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract any data from the App.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LI DAN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS OR USD $10, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

8. Apple EULA Terms

This agreement serves as the EULA between you and LI DAN. Apple-specific terms:

The App is licensed, not sold. Apple is not a party to this EULA.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.
If the App fails to conform to any warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price. Apple has no other warranty obligation.
Apple is not responsible for product liability, consumer protection, or IP infringement claims relating to the App.
LI DAN (not Apple) is responsible for any third-party IP infringement claims.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and may enforce it against you.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
