Welcome to GlowAvatar, operated by HONGKONG HDTP SOFTWARE LIMITED ("we", "our", "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Service Description
GlowAvatar is an AI-powered photo generation app that transforms your selfie photos into styled portrait images. The App uses BytePlus Seedream AI technology to generate images.
2. User Requirements
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
- You must only upload photos of yourself or photos you have legal rights to use
- You must not upload photos of other people without their consent
- You must not use the App to create harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content
3. AI-Generated Content
Important: All images generated by this App are created by artificial intelligence. Generated images may not perfectly represent real-world appearances. AI-generated content is marked with both an invisible digital watermark and a visible "AI generated" label for transparency.
- Generated images are AI creations and may contain imperfections
- We do not guarantee specific results or exact likeness
- You own the generated images for personal use
- You may share generated images on social media for personal purposes
- You may not use generated images for fraudulent purposes, identity theft, or to deceive others
- You may not use generated images to create deepfakes or non-consensual content
4. Credits and Payments
- Welcome credits: New users receive 30 welcome credits (about 3 portrait generations)
- Credit packs: One-time purchases that never expire
- Subscriptions: Lite and Pro plans, billed monthly or yearly, with credits allocated each billing period
- All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store
- Subscription credits reset at each billing period and do not roll over
- Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy
5. Subscription Terms
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
- Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited upon purchasing a subscription
6. Intellectual Property
- The App, its design, features, and technology are owned by HONGKONG HDTP SOFTWARE LIMITED
- The 50 aesthetic styles, prompts, and associated artwork are our intellectual property
- You retain rights to your original selfie photos
- You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use generated images
7. Prohibited Uses
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Attempt to bypass free trial limits or payment systems
- Use automated tools to access the service
- Upload illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
- Use generated images for commercial purposes without prior written consent
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, specific quality or accuracy of AI-generated images, or compatibility with all devices or operating systems.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HONGKONG HDTP SOFTWARE LIMITED shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
10. Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China.
