BothCam Privacy Policy

Summary: BothCam does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your personal data. All video recording and processing happens entirely on your device. Your videos never leave your iPhone unless you choose to share them yourself.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

BothCam is designed to work fully on-device. We do not collect:

Your videos, photos, or audio recordings
Your name, email address, or any account information (BothCam has no account system)
Your location
Your contacts, messages, or files
Device identifiers for tracking or advertising purposes
Analytics or usage data

BothCam contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

2. How BothCam Uses Device Permissions

BothCam requests the following iOS permissions, used solely to provide its core features on your device:

Camera – to record video with the front and back cameras simultaneously. Camera data is processed on your device only.
Microphone – to record audio for your videos. Audio is processed on your device only.
Photo Library (Add Only) – to save your finished videos to your photo library. BothCam only adds videos; it does not read, browse, or upload your existing photos or videos.

You can revoke any of these permissions at any time in iOS Settings, though the related features will stop working.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

BothCam offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions (BothCam Pro). All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your payment details, billing information, or Apple ID credentials. Subscription status is verified on your device through Apple's StoreKit framework.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

4. Data Storage

Videos you record are saved directly to your device's photo library. BothCam operates no servers and maintains no databases of user content or user information.

5. Children's Privacy

BothCam does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Since the app collects no data at all, no personal information from children is collected, stored, or processed.

6. Your Rights

Because BothCam does not collect or store any personal data, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, delete, or export. Your videos remain entirely under your own control on your device.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy (for example, if a future version of the app adds features that involve data processing), we will post the revised version at this page and update the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated within the app.
